Description

An informal screening tool for assessing the pragmatic skill of feelings and emotions for middle and high school children. Useful for progress monitoring, an adjunt to formal evaluation tools or a tool for gathering information for writing IEP goals and objectives. Useful tool if you work with autistic children.

Included in the 19 pages:

Explanation of the paralinguistics skills assessed in this product,
Instructions and probes for completing the screener,
Data collection forms,
Summary page (copy and paste into your report),
Carefully-chosen photographic stimuli of older students to accompany receptive, expressive and demonstration portions of the screener.
This version assesses eight emotions: happy, sad, angry, afraid, bored, worried, proud and frustrated. This screener provides opportunities for the receptive portion of evaluating emotions (identification), the expressive portion of evaluating emotions, (labeling) and the demonstrative portion of evaluating emotions where the student shows the emotion on their faces.

Check out this product on the Teachers Pay Teacher’s website.

Do you work with younger students? Check out the preschool and elementary screener for emotions.
